Actionable Trade-Alert from Rick in the Trading Room (Please check all related discussion in the room before you do any trades.)Wednesday, April 22, 2026  01:0001:02  TroyBIn retrospect, BYND was a better short than CAR today. 06:0006:33  Hammer DogGood article on CAR (and other potential short squeeze candidates).https://tinyurl.com/2ehjbkm6. If it blows past it, the stock should be presumed bound for a minimum 979.10. Worth every penny to anyone who has been short since the stock last traded for fair value around, oh, $115.08:55  RickAll the lunatic stocks are green in pre-opening trading, meaning Wall Street loves the indefinite cease-fire and no prospect of a settlement that would achieve any of Trump's main objectives. World non-peace has broken out. On Wall Street too much of a bad thing is never enough, gold is garbage, and Bitcoin is precious. My focus will remain obsessively on the possibility of a bull-trap high. For ES, that would mean at D=7430.25 (daily, A=6019.50 on 5/23). It is currently stalled at p2=7161.00, but price action at p leaves little doubt the target will be achieved. 09:0009:01  geebellsSuddenly we have metals and stocks going up with oil? Actionable Trade-Alert from Rick in the Trading Room (Please check all related discussion in the room before you do any trades.)13:18  Sanjay JainRick please can give update on gold and silver also [{{ No change in the analysis I published on Sunday. June Gold has spiked today precisely to p2= 4890 of the pattern shown in the touted chart. This means we can rely on it for an accurate picture and, eventually, a precise hit at d=5144.00. May Silver has so far failed to hit a corresponding p2 at 80.118, but it still obtains, as does d=86.375. The futures signaled a 'mechanical' buy on 3/26 that is still 'live' and which has gone on to produce a theoretical profit (as of today's high) of $51,000 per contract. Since you are new to this room, let me invite and encourage you to track this forecast closely and compare its clarity, accuracy and outcome with whatever other forecasts you can find in the guru world.13:19  rickA dip in May Crude to x=90.25 would trigger a very appealing buy signal, good for at least a one-level ride to p=104.86. The stop would be at 75.63, predicated on a 134.08 target. I'm not sure whether this morning's 91.05 low qualifies, but the rule is to wait until the HP level is actually touched before initiating the trade or trade set-up. Actionable Trade-Alert from Rick in the Trading Room (Please check all related discussion in the room before you do any trades.) 21:00 21:14  RickThe ES 'buy' signal posted early this morning is instructive. Stocks were falling hard when I identified a possible entry opportunity at 10:16 (see above). A few minutes later, sellers drove the futures down to within 3.00 points of the 6578.50 green line where I'd suggested placing a 'mechanical' bid. Although I noted at the time that the recommendation was still valid even though the low of a 35-point bounce had just missed my target, I was too distracted to notice when the trade triggered 45 minutes later with a relapse to what turned out to be the intraday low, 6572.75. Everything worked out straightforwardly thereafter, with a so-far high of tonight's ballistic blast somewhat above the D target at 6803.50 that was included in the initial post. The intervening swings were pretty wild, but all of them conformed obediently with the original ABCD pattern's HP levels. Once they were drawn, trading today's ginned-up anxieties required only discipline and patience. In retrospect, it's hard to believe anyone could have failed to foresee that Trump's ultimatum was just a bluff. Attentiveness to the 'news' would only have distracted one from leveraging the day's anxieties successfully. Wednesday, April 8, 2026 01:0001:41  RickNever underestimate DaBoyz ability to levitate a turd as though it were helium. Now they've leveraged Trump's step back from the brink to seize bears by the scrotum. The short-squeeze is currently well above the 6810.00 HP I'd billboarded in the latest ES tout, implying that 7030.75 -- a 'd' target that lies just 66 points from new all-time highs -- is within shooting distance. Only one other 'hidden' resistance could stop the rally: a 'secondary' HP (p2) at 6861.50.

This timely, explicitly detailed trade was geared toward beginners. With relatively little risk, It could have produced a fat gain in under an hour for anyone who attempted it

Actionable Trade-Alert from Rick in the Trading Room (Please check all related discussion in the room before you do any trades.)10:04  RickLooking for a tradeable bounce in SQQQ (Ultrashort QQQ) from 74.86. Currently 75.73 and falling. TI=21 cents. // 74.59 so-far low implies 74.80 entry trigger. // 10:26 Triggered, stop 74.58, p=75.01 for first partial profit. //10:27 out of half; p2=75.21, d=75.42 // 10:29 p2 hit, but I'll wait for d=75.42 to take off another 25% //10:33 Correcting d to 75.39, out 25% more at 75.27 on 'dynamic' trailing stop; remainder stopped at 74.55 for a swing at the fence. // 10:38 d=75.39 exceeded by one cent. That could be it for the rally, but I've locked in a profit and don't much care. Immediate potential (i.e., the 'fence') above 75.40 is to 76.37. A 75.46 print is needed to put 76.37 theoretically in play. // 11:50 Exiting the balance with SQQQ trading at my 'fences' target, 76.37.

A note regarding my “throwaway’ trades

Actionable Trade-Alert from Rick in the Trading Room (Please check all related discussion in the room before you do any trades.)14:00 14:38  RickMarch ES, currently 6711.40, would trip a 'mechanical' buy on a pullback to 6661.25, stop 6608.50. The trade is predicated on a run-up to 6819.50, my minimum upside projection for the near term, where it can be reversed (but only if you've been long on the way up).14:42  RickApril Crude, currently 93.98, is on its way down to 87.69. Short a feint to 98.75, stop 102.45.14:48  RickApr Gold on a theoretical 'buy' from 5027.00, stop 4970.00. The bounce will need to surpass 5083.90 to put bulls back in charge.14:51  RickI am confident in all of the numbers/levels above, although I cannot 'guarantee' the long in gold because of the way it is struggling to get airborne. It has already come within 3.50 of stopping out the trade. Calculate the entry risk before you do any of these trades, since the implied 'textbook' risk is huge and needs to be handled with a camo trigger in each instance.15:0015:04  RickAnybody home?15:08  WalterYes! Thanks Rick and I am reading it carefully. I appreciate your guidance. I cannot always benefit as I am not a full time trader. So every now and then I do a trade but most of my money is in longer term precious metals investments.15:11  RickLurker Nation15:12  AceRick: My situation is somewhat like Walter's, and I am trying to follow your guidance. Looking for a good place to add to my metals/miners positions. Glad you are back!15:19  RickTrying to find an easy trade (in TQQQ), discovering mainly that the 'clueless idiots' factor underlying nearly all price action is ratcheted up to the max. This will remain so, as my ES tout implies, until crude prices fall sufficiently to lull the clueless idiots into a state of 'calm'.16:0016:33  NaturalThanks Rick

My ES target nailed the exact low of today’s cliff-dive. Check out my Silver post in the chat room if you need the same level of confidence and accuracy in that symbol, too

Actionable Trade-Alert from Rick in the Trading Room (Please check all related discussion in the room before you do any trades.)'Mechanical ' sell signals have a great track record for producing profits, but the waiting time lately has become tortuous. This could be because the white-shoe racketeers who rig the markets have lacked sufficient "news," good or bad, to trigger the wild swings needed to steal from panicky retail investors. Trump's bloviations have lost their punch, and Fed-watching has devolved into something like Kremlinology, too arcane to parse.  Be that as it may, the futures remain on-target for a further fall to at least 6720.00. I canceled a corresponding short in QQQ Friday on the hunch that it would take hours to grind out a relatively small profit. That is what happened, and don't be surprised if Monday and the week ahead offer more of the same.  The big moves have come early in the week lately, presumably because it takes a few days for lack of mass indecision and uncertainty to slip into its by-now-familiar rut. _______ UPDATE (Feb 3, 3:59 pm.):  Do you see the 6720.00 target boldfaced above?  It not only correctly and confidently predicted the extent of the nasty, 155-point swan-dive that was yet to follow, it also caught the low of the dive within 1.75 points. Only two subscribers appear to have noticed any of this, and one of them, a novice with an extremely erratic track record, caught a profitable ride worth $3000 from within a hair of the low. If you got long there yourself and rode it to the top, the trade would have produced an intraday gain of $6500 per contract.f

Actionable Trade-Alert from Rick in the Trading Room (Please check all related discussion in the room before you do any trades.)09:59  RickMay Silver would signal a mouth-watering 'textbook' buy when it touches 77.866, a hair beneath the so-far low. That is the green line, however, and NOT a target, so any buying there should use a 'camo' trigger. Also, there is perhaps a 70% chance the selloff will continue to at least 69.245, a back-up-the-truck number. Please note as well that there are no compelling patterns that guarantee new record highs will be achieved on the rally from that low. An HP at 117.485 is as high as I am comfortable projecting at the moment.

Actionable Trade-Alert from Rick in the Trading Room (Please check all related discussion in the room before you do any trades.)16:48  WestBTC - crashing after hours, may take out today's earlier low. Looking for 71,500 to cash in my SBIT position.17:0017:14  RickBTC could fall to as low as 62,080. The pattern is sausage-y, but I just got done explaining to Ncohrnt why p midpoint logic still works even in lousy patterns. In this case, I've compensated for its lousiness by using a one-off 'A'. Also, the A-B impulse did exceed TWO 'external' lows without an upward correction, attesting to its power. Bottom-line: I would bottom-fish p2=71,051 gingerly, and also brace for more carnage down to 62,080, possibly with an intervening bounce. Actionable Trade-Alert from Rick in the Trading Room (Please check all related discussion in the room before you do any trades.)23:04  RickGold's wildness has impelled me to experiment with new ways to interpret ABCD patterns, some of them howlers. As a result, I am currently using a 5476.70 target, with a possible, even serious, stall at 5213.30.
