Drudge Report Could Use Some Help

msnbc-punditsIt’s starting to feel like we’ll be bombarded with exit-poll ephemera until Campaign 2020 begins in earnest the day after Trump is sworn into office. The news media have become so addicted to political gossip, and to foisting it off as hard news, that they may have lost their ability to discern what constitutes real news.  Note to managing editors: We are all experts by now on why Trump won and Hillary lost, and listening to your talking heads deconstruct this topic ad nauseum only reinforces our collective awareness that the experts have nothing to say that we don’t already know, or don’t care to know.

The worst part of it is that the punditry’s non-stop flatulence will continue to find its way onto the pages of local newspapers, since most Town Criers, Morning Gazettes and Evening Heralds have mutated into daily digests of whatever it is the Associated Press happens to be reporting at the moment. In the meantime, and for one, the well-connected thugs at Goldman Sachs, which has recently gotten immersed in public/private partnerships to build toll roads, or to turn free roads into un-free ones as has occurred here in Denver, will continue to get away with murder, as will deal-crazy politicians who never seem to meet a real estate developer with whom they cannot do business under the table. Medicare and Social Security will continue their headlong plunge into bankruptcy, public pensions will continue to take an increasing share of our savings, and the national debt will continue to climb even as the ability of reporters to ferret out instances of egregious waste and corruption at all levels of government continues to atrophy. With Huffington Post, the L.A. Times, Washington Post and the New York Times now operating as a liberal mafia that is more or less oblivious to what goes on in the real world, Drudge Report could surely use some help getting out the news.

Trump, if one of “them” would not have had the media in a mass explosion of paid false coverage, that is how we know he isn’t another communist global freedom traitor. Media was trying to hard to make him look bad backfired on them now most intelligent Americans know we are getting communist Korean style propaganda and were boycotting them 11/20/16 #BoycottCnn is the start. They push lies we will push for truth.

Just in case Rick. Trump needs to show “restraint” with respect to the FED. Are these people comedy writers?

    Hi Rick,
    Hope you’ve been well!
Thanks for the response! Sorry to see that old Gary is even less sane! Seems like no matter how many times he reads it, he still can’t come to grips with us seeing through the smoke and mirrors and trading with the charts. Some things will never change! Seems like my email/pword is no longer valid so sorry for the inconvenience on that. I agree with you of course. I’m very happy and even a 4 year stay of execution is something to celebrate! Yet I remain vigilant! Until next time. Wishing all the best!

Hoping for the best and certainly prefer this to receiving the death blow the Marxists would have delivered if they’d won. HOWEVER, I’m cynical. Forgive me! I don’t trust ANY of them including Trump. “Show me”. Trump, all obvious shortcomings aside, strikes me as an old school DEM deal-maker and y’all know this to be true with few exceptions: “The nine most terrifying words in the English language are: I’m from the government and I’m here to help.” I think far too many smart people are discounting the potential for malevolence far too fast. The eneMedia, the democrips, are givens but don’t forget the rethuglicans (his own party?) and NEVER forget the dark matter, the shadow government. They are the the most serious and deadliest threat of all. If Trump doesn’t expose and then reform the fraudulent government statistics and prosecute all past and current corruption I’ll be severely disappointed but not surprised at all. Hoping to be wrong about everything. Miss Rick’s old raucous forum! Irrational Apologist Gary would have been hilarious to read right about now… Would love to hear from likeable but SuperStatist Mario who’d have to explain why China’s indices are no where near their bubble highs in what was supposed to the Age of Pangloss forever…

Nice to see you back, Will. The fact that voters prevented the Marxist death blow, possibly for a long time, is reason enough to be optimistic about Trump. Concerning the absolutely insufferable Gary Liebowitz, he did send me a lunatic rant a few days ago, but I didn’t publish it because that would have encouraged him to try to post here again. He is still most unwelcome, and I aim to keep it that way. RA

    John Jay,

You’re right, they’re not very likely to leave. But if they seriously tried, I’d really like to see the look on their faces when the red counties refused to go along. They won’t be slaves for the blue. It’ll be like Clive Bundy x 1,000,000, if they try to make them.

    Rick,

I don’t expect all this lying media chatter to go on until 2020, nor even resume after. The democrat party has lost all control of our government, including the states governors. How can they afford to keep running a lying media empire, with no real political power?

Consider this, as well: the Clinton Machine has taken just about the whole party, if not all of it. With limited power and money, it won’t be easy for her and the democrats to defend against the relentless pursuit of the new FBI and Justice Department. And with the MSM itself dying, it won’t be able to circle the wagons around them, as they have done hitherto.

However, Rick, you rain on the parade by bringing up Social Security. And rightly so. If Trump has no solid and effective plan for that, then this miracle revolution will be over faster than anyone thought possible. Let’s hope he does, because barring that, this is shaping up to be a beautiful new era!

My favorite Liberal-Dem response to the Trump victory is the threat to have California secede from the Union!
    LOL!

Just off the top of my head………………….

    No more Section 8 housing?
    No more Federal student loans?
    No more EIC fraud?
    No more FHA?
    No more SNAP cards?
    No more Obamaphones?

    Go ahead, make my day!
